BIRD OF ODIN

Handbuilt, one of a kind, ceramic sculpture based on an original Viking piece found in Sweden. Representing a raven, the original is much smaller in size and is thought to have been made as a piece to decorate the top of a ceremonial staff.

Premium Crank clay.
Stoneware.
Purple iron engobe under dry blue-green glaze.
Coloured wax stains.
